I believe that great ideas are a result of continuous experimentation and a rebellious spirit.
I’m currently at BusinessOnBot, Bengaluru, working across PRDs, prototypes, and UX research. Before this I worked with SkillGigs and Mrikal Studios, with the same instinct: dive into research, then design the simplest thing that solves the real problem.
To me, design is about making one thing work so well that it becomes obvious. It’s also about breaking old habits. There’s a line often credited to Henry Ford: he never wanted a faster horse, he wanted to get from point A to B. It has stayed with me through my career.
Before I was a designer, I was a scientist. I have a master’s in nanotechnology and worked at research institutes including INST, India. Before I graduated, I had three publications (see my Google Scholar profile). That shaped how I work now: form a hypothesis, test it in the smallest way possible, and read the result honestly even when it’s not what you hoped for.
Outside work, I play harmonica and electric guitar. These days I’m learning Indian classical music. I find it amazing.
